Key Responsibilities
- Carry out rail and track construction, maintenance and associated project work
- Use practical rail experience to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
- Follow rail project specifications, procedures and site requirements
- Work alongside experienced track crews and project supervisors
- Comply with rail safety, workplace health and safety and site regulations
- Maintain consistent quality and productivity throughout project activities
- Travel to project locations as required
- Apply current competencies and qualifications relevant to assigned duties
- Undertake Thermit Welding work where appropriately qualified
- Maintain professional and accurate records of relevant skills and competencies
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility
- Demonstrated professional experience in rail and track work
- Current KLE Profile
- Relevant rail competencies and industry experience
- Thermit Welding competency is an advantage
- Ability to demonstrate and verify previous rail employment and skills
- Relevant qualifications, tickets and industry certifications
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to rail industry standards
- Reliable, adaptable and able to work across different project environments
- Willingness to travel when required
- Overseas applicants with suitable verified experience may be eligible for sponsorship
