Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse and distribution activities
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate warehouse personnel
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, deliveries, and collections
  • Manage incoming international shipments and internal stock movements
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and customer collection requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records
  • Organise cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies
  • Ensure appropriate stock rotation and safe product storage
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness and organisation
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are consistently followed
  • Maintain strong workplace health and safety practices
  • Assist with workforce planning and additional labour requirements
  • Coordinate servicing and certification of vehicles and warehouse equipment
  • Ensure company property, machinery, and vehicles remain safe and operational
  • Support facility compliance and required operational certifications
  • Coordinate the efficient receipt and processing of incoming containers
  • Keep inventory and warehouse management systems accurate and current
  • Monitor order fulfilment and DIFOT performance
  • Prepare accurate timesheets, operational records, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
  • Introduce initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service
  • Support the Warehouse Manager with staffing and operational planning
  • Work with other teams to maintain reliable customer service
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, initiative, and professional standards

Candidate Requirements & Eligibility

  • Relevant experience in warehouse supervision, logistics, distribution, supply chain, or a similar environment
  • Previous responsibility for supervising or coordinating warehouse staff
  • Practical knowledge of inventory and stock-control procedures
  • Experience handling customer orders, dispatch, deliveries, or collections
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment
  • Strong leadership and people-management capabilities
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and operational deadlines
  • Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to identify practical ways to improve operational performance
  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to take ownership
  • Willingness to undertake additional training and development
