Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out rail and track construction, maintenance and associated project work
  • Use practical rail experience to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
  • Follow rail project specifications, procedures and site requirements
  • Work alongside experienced track crews and project supervisors
  • Comply with rail safety, workplace health and safety and site regulations
  • Maintain consistent quality and productivity throughout project activities
  • Travel to project locations as required
  • Apply current competencies and qualifications relevant to assigned duties
  • Undertake Thermit Welding work where appropriately qualified
  • Maintain professional and accurate records of relevant skills and competencies

Candidate Requirements & Eligibility

  • Demonstrated professional experience in rail and track work
  • Current KLE Profile
  • Relevant rail competencies and industry experience
  • Thermit Welding competency is an advantage
  • Ability to demonstrate and verify previous rail employment and skills
  • Relevant qualifications, tickets and industry certifications
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to rail industry standards
  • Reliable, adaptable and able to work across different project environments
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Overseas applicants with suitable verified experience may be eligible for sponsorship
  • Remuneration will be discussed according to experience, competencies and suitability
