Key Responsibilities
- Managing daily front-of-house and restaurant floor operations
- Ensuring efficient service and an excellent customer experience
- Coordinating floor activities with the chef and management team
- Supervising staff throughout restaurant service
- Allocating duties and ensuring appropriate staff coverage
- Training and supporting team members
- Monitoring employee performance and maintaining service standards
- Ensuring staff follow workplace policies, procedures and hygiene requirements
- Managing customer needs and resolving service issues professionally
- Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Communicating with suppliers and arranging product orders
- Managing stock requirements according to availability and seasonality
- Supporting the management team with day-to-day operational requirements
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming restaurant environment
- Helping preserve the quality and authenticity of the Italian dining experience
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management, floor management or a comparable hospitality role
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and food products
- Demonstrated experience managing and supervising restaurant staff
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
- Experience training and developing hospitality employees
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work confidently in a busy and customer-focused environment
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
- Ability to handle operational challenges and make effective decisions
- Italian background or strong knowledge of Italian food culture is highly regarded
- Willingness to begin on a part-time basis with the opportunity to progress to full-time
