Key Responsibilities
- Supervisor / Field Manager
- Lead, coach and support hospitality teams across assigned venues
- Maintain consistent service, operational and customer experience standards
- Train team members on menus, procedures and operational requirements
- Review venue performance and identify areas for improvement
- Support menu changes, product reviews and operational updates
- Assist with new venue launches and opening preparations
- Monitor stock, equipment and general venue requirements
- Provide hands-on assistance to venue managers and staff
- Conduct regular venue visits and provide operational coaching
- Develop practical strategies to improve sales and business performance
- Work with senior management to resolve operational issues
- Travel between venues, including regional and interstate locations where required
- Chef
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and quality expectations
- Deliver consistent standards in taste, presentation and food quality
- Assist with the preparation and introduction of new menu items
- Maintain effective food preparation and stock rotation systems
- Monitor kitchen inventory and minimise unnecessary wastage
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Assist with kitchen setup and preparation for new venue openings
- Work cooperatively with management and other kitchen staff
- Provide guidance and training to junior kitchen team members when required
- Maintain performance and quality standards during busy service periods
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility

- Proven professional experience in hospitality, restaurant or F&B operations
- Previous supervisory, management or multi-site experience
- Experience within Japanese restaurants or sushi operations is highly regarded
- Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
- Ability to assess operational issues and implement practical solutions
- Self-motivated and hands-on approach
- Ability to maintain standards across multiple venues
- Flexibility to work weekends when required
- Willingness to travel between venues
- Current driver's licence preferred
- Australian Permanent Residency or valid full-time work rights required
- Working Holiday Visa holders are not eligible for Supervisor / Field Manager positions

- Demonstrated commercial kitchen or restaurant experience
- Japanese cuisine, sushi or broader F&B experience highly regarded
- Relevant culinary qualifications preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and adaptable professional approach
- Willingness to relocate or work across different Australian locations
