Key Responsibilities
- Complete electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across residential and commercial projects
- Install, test and maintain CCTV systems
- Install and service security alarm systems
- Install and maintain intercom systems
- Install and maintain electronic access control systems
- Attend local customer sites and complete assigned work efficiently
- Assess job requirements and deliver quality workmanship
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide a positive on-site experience
- Work independently while taking responsibility for assigned jobs
- Maintain a professional standard when working inside client homes and businesses
- Follow electrical safety procedures and workplace requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas to an appropriate professional standard
- Support the wider team while taking ownership of individual responsibilities
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility
- Australian electrical licence or overseas electrical qualification eligible for Australian licensing
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical trade experience
- Demonstrated residential and commercial electrical experience
- Practical knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding
- Security systems experience in CCTV, alarms, intercoms or access control is advantageous
- Own hand tools suitable for electrical trade work
- Australian driver's licence
- White Card
- Working at Heights ticket advantageous
- EWP ticket advantageous
- Professional communication and customer-facing skills
- Strong personal presentation and reliable work habits
- Ability to manage work without constant supervision
- Ability to provide verifiable qualifications and genuine employment experience
- Willingness to complete the required Australian licensing process where applicable
- Overseas-qualified electricians who meet Australian licensing eligibility are encouraged to apply
