Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional duties in compliance wiCreate welcoming, safe and engaging learning environments
- Develop and deliver high-quality kindergarten educational programs
- Plan learning experiences based on children's individual interests and developmental needs
- Support children's learning, wellbeing and social development
- Observe, assess and document children's progress
- Maintain electronic learning programs and portfolios
- Build trusting and respectful relationships with children
- Develop strong partnerships with parents and families
- Communicate professionally with families about children's development
- Work closely with educators to provide consistent and high-quality care
- Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborative workplace
- Apply the National Quality Standards and relevant National Regulations
- Maintain appropriate standards of health, safety and child wellbeing
- Participate in training and professional development activities
- Share ideas, knowledge and resources with fellow Early Childhood Teachers
- Contribute to continuous improvement of educational practices
- Maintain a professional, enthusiastic and reliable approach to workth health and safety regulations
- Collaborate effectively with team members and on-site supervisors
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant trade qualification, diploma, or degree
- Minimum 2 years practical experience in theHold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
- OR hold an approved Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma and be actively working towards an ACECQA-approved ECT qualification
- OR be enrolled in an approved ECT qualification and have completed at least 50% of the qualification
- Provide transcripts confirming at least 50% completion where applicable
- Overseas-qualified Early Childhood Teachers are encouraged to apply
- Meet relevant ACECQA assessment requirements
- Meet applicable English language requirements
- Meet the eligibility criteria for the relevant Australian visa pathway
- Be eligible to obtain a Queensland Working with Children Blue Card
- Successfully complete a National Police Check
- Hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training, or obtain these qualifications as required
- Have a genuine passion for working with young children
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have the ability to establish positive relationships with children and families
- Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism and reliability
- Be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Demonstrate an understanding of early childhood learning and development
- Be committed to maintaining high standards of education and care role
- Good English communication skills
- Eligibility for relevant license or registration
