Job Description & Workplace Context
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of daily venue operations
- Supervise team members and coordinate effective shift performance
- Support staff rostering, training, onboarding and performance management
- Maintain consistently high customer service and hospitality standards
- Handle customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally
- Monitor inventory, stock usage and ordering requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain appropriate stock availability
- Maintain workplace health, safety and operational standards
- Ensure venue practices remain aligned with relevant licensing requirements
- Assist management with functions, promotions and special events
- Monitor sales results, customer feedback and team performance
- Prepare operational information and reports for management
- Identify day-to-day operational challenges and implement practical solutions
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in hospitality supervision, duty management or venue operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage hospitality staff
- Strong understanding of customer service and hospitality operations
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain organised and make decisions in a busy environment
- Practical experience with stock control and ordering
- Basic understanding of financial and operational management
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Relevant hospitality or management qualifications are advantageous
- Currently onshore in Australia
- Ability to provide genuine, verifiable evidence of relevant professional experience
- Sponsorship is available for the right candidate
