Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Italian dishes in line with kitchen standards
- Assist with preparation of pasta, sauces and traditional Italian ingredients
- Complete daily mise en place and food preparation tasks
- Follow recipes, preparation methods and presentation standards
- Maintain consistent quality, flavour and portion control
- Work efficiently and professionally during kitchen service
- Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic preparation area
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members
- Respond positively to direction, feedback and training
- Develop practical cooking skills through hands-on kitchen experience
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism throughout each shift

- Genuine interest in Italian cuisine and professional cooking
- Demonstrated kitchen experience, training or practical cooking ability
- Strong work ethic and dependable approach
- Willingness to learn and accept professional guidance
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Previous commercial kitchen experience is advantageous
