Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional haircuts across classic and contemporary styles
- Assess customer requirements and recommend suitable hairstyles
- Provide styling and finishing services to a high standard
- Perform beard trimming, shaping and grooming
- Provide wet shaving services where appropriately experienced
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout each service
- Deliver a professional and welcoming customer experience
- Build strong relationships with new and returning clients
- Recommend appropriate hair care and grooming products
- Keep tools, equipment and workstations clean and hygienic
- Maintain professional personal presentation
- Follow workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Work collaboratively with the wider barbering team
- Participate in training and ongoing skills development
- Maintain consistent service quality during busy periods
- Contribute to a positive, respectful and professional workplace
Candidate Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant Barbering or Hairdressing qualification preferred
- Demonstrated hands-on barbering or hairdressing experience
- Strong ability across traditional and contemporary haircutting techniques
- Good understanding of customer consultation and service delivery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, confident and professional personality
- High standard of personal presentation
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques and improve professional skills
- Beard styling and shaving experience is an advantage
- Apprentices with suitable training and practical experience may be considered
- Candidates must be able to provide genuine and verifiable information about their qualifications and work history
- Overseas candidates must be able to satisfy applicable Australian employment and visa requirements
- Onshore applicants are preferred
